I think we are aiming for reflective practice and evidence-based design We should take into account that design is sometimes a group activity some of our students will not want to be designers per se, but to take on other roles in the design team (e.g. QA, HCI, Market analysis, Strategy...)
Year 3 Thoughts -- CDS
I think that students will naturally gravitate toward the roles that interest them and that they are good at. Part of that selection process is course selection.
One of the opportunities that we have at SIAT is the opportunity for students to explore a range of skills in the service of design, but we still have to make sure that the individual student's work is fully evaluated.
