One thing I would not like to lose sight of is the possibility of cross-linkage with other departments to create new areas of concentration-- SIAT-Contemporary Arts, SIAT-Business, SIAT-Kinesiology, SIAT-Cognitive Science, perhaps somesday SIAT-CS. We should find ways that our courses fulfill requirements for other majors in such a way that a minor can be done with minimal hassle and can deliver a package that interests students.
