I notice a glaring lack of one area explicitly identified and that is HCI. I believe we need to own this domain, or someone else will claim it and we will be undercut. It is a foundational area to much of SIAT. Many of the proposed areas and courses and paths to completiuon implicitrly rely on it. So i propose that we amend the second year core as follows:

4. Course area #4 called "Cognition" be retargeted as HCI (introduction to). WE can suggest that basic Psych 101 is a good background for this course. It will certainly incorporate some aspects of human cognition in it. In essence this course area has to recapture both elements of 200 and 201 while bringing in additional aspects of HCI.
* note that for articulation purposes we could take any HCI course at second or third year as an equivalent.
